We offer fitness classes for all abilities. Having led classes at Wittenham Clumps for the past 16 years, I know the area inside and out. I carefully select the locations for my classes and make sure the routes vary each week, keeping things fresh and exciting for clients. All classes are enjoyable and highly effective, offering a non-competitive, supportive environment where clients work at their own pace. Each class lasts 45 minutes with the exception of 40:20 and HoopBall, which are 60 minutes. In addition to boosting heart rates, all sessions incorporate stretching and balance exercises. BODYWEIGHT A fun and effective full-body interval workout (bootcamp style) combining bodyweight exercises, running, stretching, and balance work. The Friday class is for those confident with a high intensity workout. POWERWALK The PowerWalk is an engaging and inclusive fitness class suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced. These sessions focus on brisk walking to boost cardio endurance, alongside bodyweight exercises, balance work, and stretches. It's a fantastic way to improve fitness, tone muscles, enhance flexibility, and promote overall well-being. Well behaved dogs are welcome. RUNFIT The RUNfit class focuses less on distance and more on helping participants build running fitness. Each session incorporates strength and flexibility exercises to prevent common running injuries. As the weeks progress, distance will gradually increase. The class is non-competitive, encouraging personal progress at your own pace H0OPBALL A fun and highly effective core workout using both a Swiss ball and a Hula Hoop—just not at the same time! Join in for a lively session with a Swiss Ball segment followed by a Hula Hoop workout, all set to great music and plenty of laughs! (Participants will need a Swiss ball, Hula Hoop, and yoga mat.) WALK STRETCH & BALANCE A very gentle class for the over 60's designed for mature clients and individuals returning to exercise. This session includes a gentle walk, incorporating strengthening exercises, stretches, and balance work along the way. This class is FREE OF CHARGE. PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES Exercise with friends and Nix will bring the class to you and personalise a programme for your group (within a 5 mile radius of Wallingford, Oxfordshire).
We offer clients the opportunity to take part on a yearly Challenge with all training included in the price. The Challenges have been life-changing. The Nixercise teams have conquered many things including countless hills, mountains and miles!
